Grand Palace is the previos king's Palace of Jakkri Monarch - present Thai Royal. It located close to Chao Phraya river and surrounding with historical temples and important places.
There are 3 famous things in Grand Palace - Emerald Buddha, Ramayana murals on the walls and Jakkri Mahaprasat.             
Wat Pra Kaew is the Royal Temple and it has Emerald Buddha inside. This Buddha has a long history and it is the withness of Jakkri monarch success.
On the walls surrounding the temples, it has wall paintings from Ramayana - Indian epic, with thai art style.
Jakkri Mahaprasat is hall of grand palace, it was built with mixed of Western and Thai architectural styles.

Sunshine.Scene:                                                                                                        It is located near Chao Phraya river at the East side in Pra Nakorn district. The good time to visit is in the morning, you can spent your time seeing and walking around Grand Palace amid the sunshine.  

Getting.There:                                                                                                  There are very convenient to go there from your resident in Bangkok. If you have time you can get on public bus, it takes time but you can get closer to Bangkokian and Thai city life.
