| Phu Khao Thong or Golden Mountain is one of Bankok’s landmarks which height at 100 meters. The bottom is a man-made hill covered with cement walls and 2 staircases around it for go up and down. The top is a small golden pagoda that has a Buddha relic inside. It was started building more than 150 years ago during King Rama III (1787-1851) and completed in King Rama V(1853-1910). At the top, one can find a breezy 360-degree view of Bankok’s most photogenic side. Because of it’s location in Pomprab district which is one of the capital’s center in the past, it is the landmark of old Bangkok. |

| Getting There : Golden Mountain located in Pomprab district, Bangkok. It daily opens from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. There is available public bus service to go there. |
